After analysing the boat requirements for the race, the team decided that a Rustler 36’ is the boat to bring the best performance to sail around the world. Aleix Selles is going to sail solo around the world with his Rustler, called Onsoro, the Bodhisattva. She was designed in 1984 by Holman & Pye. With and overall length of 10.77 meters and a beam of 3.35 meters, she is going to share the journey with aleix during the golden globe race 2022

ALEIX SELLES
Aleix discovered sailing and the love for the oceans at his very early age. The first day he got on a dinghy, a grain of salt got in him and affected his decisions from that moment.
At the age of 14 years old he discovered regattas and embrace them as a way of pushing himself and learning more about the wind and the sea. He raced in dinghies and keel yachts mostly inshore.
Aleix enjoyed offshore sailing for the first time at the age of 16 and slowly got into it. He logged most of his offshore miles in the last few years.
